Indications	Desmopressin acetate, is a treatment used to stop some types of bleeding in people with mild hemophilia A with Factor VIII coagulant activity levels greater than 5% or mild to moderate von Willebrand disease (VWD) Type 1 with Factor VIII coagulant activity levels greater than 5%.
Contraindications	Contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity to desmopressin acetate or to any of the components of desmopressin acetate. Desmopressin acetate is contraindicated in patients with moderate to severe renal impairment (defined as a creatinine clearance below 50ml/min). Desmopressin acetate is contraindicated in patients with hyponatremia or a history of hyponatremia.

Storage Requirements/Shelf Life
Nasal Spray:	Store at room temperature not to exceed 25°C (77°F) for the period indicated by the expiration date on the label. Store bottle in upright position.

Nasal Spray:	1.5 mg/mL of desmopressin acetate. Supplied in an amber glass vial with a spray pump capable of delivering 6 sprays of 150 mcg of desmopressin acetate.
