Rebecca Kruse-Jarres

Dr. Rebecca Kruse-Jarres is an Executive/Medical Director and Physician at the Washington Center for Bleeding Disorders. She completed a nursing degree in California and proceeded to attend medical school at Tulane University in New Orleans, where she also completed residency and fellowship training in hematology/oncology. She was faculty at Tulane from 2005 until 2014 and was the Associate Director of the Louisiana Center for Bleeding and Clotting Disorders. In 2014, she moved to Seattle to become the Medical Director at the Washington Center for Bleeding Disorders. Rebecca is also Professor at the University of Washington in both medicine and pediatrics.

Rebecca has a long-standing interest in the detection, prevention and treatment of antibodies (inhibitors) against clotting factor, both in inherited hemophilia and as an acquired disorder (acquired hemophilia). She also actively supports and researches the role of ultrasound in assessing joints acutely and following joint health over time.

Rebecca loves to ski and would love to find more time to explore the beautiful Northwest. She enjoys the music and theater scene in Seattle and surrounding areas.
